Daniel studied economics at the University of Siegen (Germany) after completing a vocational training. During his time as assistant to the Chair of Financial Sciences, he wrote his doctoral thesis on “Ecological Tax Reform”.
Since 1999, Daniel has worked as a management consultant for a larger Luxemburgish-Belgian management consultancy firm, where he helped to establish the “Consulting” department.
In his daily work, he is mainly involved in consulting projects in the fields of controlling and corporate finance.
He often describes his field of activity as that of a “financial coach”.
He supports medium-sized companies in change and optimization projects, M&A and in crisis management. He also manages the activities in the field of valuation, amongst others of intangible assets.
Since 2020, Daniel’s department has been operating under the name of “NEOVIAQ Advisory”, underlining its affiliation with the NEOVIAQ management consulting group, which employs around 60 people and is represented with its services in Weiswampach, as well as in Eupen, Brussels, Liège and Luxembourg City.
