Raymond Bindels

Raymond has extensive expertise in the field of legal consulting, particularly in intellectual property, data protection and ICT-related issues.

After graduating in law from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium), he began his legal career at the Bar of Liège (Belgium) where he advised clients in the fields of business law, human rights and European law. Alongside his work as a lawyer, he worked as an assistant in the civil procedure law department at the Catholic University of Louvain for two years.

In 2007, Raymond joined one of Europe’s leading intellectual property firms, where he developed his intellectual property practice as a trademark and design attorney.
Raymond is a registered trademark and design representative with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), has obtained a DPO certificate and has earned CIPP/E and CIPM certifications from the IAPP.

In 2015, Raymond co-founded and led the IP/ICT department of a Belgian-Luxembourg business consultancy firm. Since 2020, this department has been operating under the name of “NEOVIAQ IP/ICT”, highlighting its affiliation with the NEOVIAQ business consulting group, which employs around 60 people and is represented with its services in Weiswampach, as well as in Eupen, Brussels, Liège and Luxembourg City.

Raymond advises and assists a wide range of domestic and foreign clients in a clear and practical manner on all aspects of intellectual property, data protection and business law, both in Belgium and Luxembourg. He is also a member of various professional associations such as BMM, ECTA, I3PM, LES Benelux, IAPP, and APDL.
