The Verband deutschsprachiger Turnvereine (VDT)

The Verband deutschsprachiger Turnvereine (VDT) is an association of 17 gymnastics clubs from the German-speaking community, with over 3,800 members ranging from young children to seniors. The VDT plays a key role as the central hub and expert for all matters relating to gymnastics in the region.

The missions of the VDT

Our secretary is a key figure in sporting competitions in the German-speaking community. She is the main point of contact for all gymnastics clubs when it comes to organising and managing competitions. Thanks to her professional expertise and attentive listening skills, she is able to support clubs and their volunteers in planning, offers valuable advice, and ensures that events run smoothly. She also deals with the association’s daily correspondence, looks after insurance matters for members and maintains links with the Fédération Francophone de Gymnastique (FFG). Her responsibilities include registering judges for further training courses, along with various other roles.
